Hairstroke micropigmentation: how it looks and who it suits

The hairstroke technique draws fine hairs in the natural growth direction of your brows, for a dense but natural look. It suits you if you want it to look like your own hair, just better filled in.

What hairstroke means

Hairstroke creates fine lines that imitate real hairs. Microblading is the manual, blade-based version; hairstroke micropigmentation can also be done with a machine.

The direction, length and thickness of the strokes are chosen to follow your natural brows.

How it differs from powder brows

Powder brows give a soft, even shaded effect; hairstroke gives the effect of individual hairs. Microblading mainly suits normal or dry skin, while the machine technique suits any skin type.

Combo combines the two: hairs at the front and shading elsewhere, for a natural yet full effect.

How long it lasts

On average 1–2 years, depending on skin type, sun exposure and your skincare routine. Oily skin can shorten it.

A touch-up at 6–8 weeks finalises the result.

How to choose the technique

The choice depends on your skin type, how much hair you have and your style. At the consultation we draw the shape and recommend the right technique: hairstroke, powder or combo.
