Powder brows micropigmentation: what it is and who it suits

Powder brows are a machine-based micropigmentation technique that creates a soft, shaded effect, like brow powder. The goal is a groomed, natural look without a daily pencil routine.

What the powder effect looks like

Pigment is placed in the superficial layer of the skin in fine dots for a soft, filled-in effect. The shape is drawn and approved together before the treatment begins.

The intensity is chosen at the consultation: from a subtle effect to a more defined one.

Who it suits

The machine technique suits any skin type, including oilier skin, and anyone who wants a subtle make-up effect rather than individually drawn hairs.

If you prefer a look with fine hairs, read our guide on hairstroke micropigmentation; at the consultation we choose the right technique together, or a combination (combo).

How long it lasts and the touch-up

On average the result lasts 1–2 years. Oily skin and sun exposure can shorten it, and a periodic refresh keeps the colour.

After about 6–8 weeks a touch-up is done to finalise the shape and intensity.

How the treatment goes

We start with a consultation and drawing the shape, then apply a topical anaesthetic and work with sterile single-use needles. In total, plan about 2–3 hours.

Afterwards you receive aftercare instructions; our micropigmentation aftercare guide helps you prepare.

Frequently asked questions

Are powder brows suitable for oily skin?

The machine technique suits any skin type. Oily skin can still shorten how long the result lasts, so we discuss it at the consultation.

How much does brow micropigmentation cost?

Prices are listed on the website’s price page, including the touch-up and refresh, so you know the total cost before booking.

Are there contraindications?

Yes, for example pregnancy and breastfeeding, uncontrolled diabetes, certain treatments (anticoagulants, retinoids) and active infections in the area. We cover everything at the free consultation.

This information is general. Every skin and hair type is different — at the consultation we give personalised recommendations.
